Friends of Claverley Church -  how we are spending your money

  We are thrilled to be able to advise that we have  had an opportunity to meet up, despite the restraints of Covid,  and have agreed to support the following projects:

We are contributing half of the money needed to strim the churchyard, with the other half kindly already offered by the Parish Council.     As many of your might be aware, the North section of the churchyard is a wild area for wildflowers and is looked after by God's Acre, to encourage bees and other polinating insects, as well as beetles and other wildlife.

We have also agreed to cover the cost of an alarm on the roof of the Church to protect the lead  although this is already marked with a special paint.  This alarm is a requirement of the insurance policy, and we are delighted to be able to ensure that the building is fully insured.
